Signs of wear (acceptable)
Fingernail scratches. Light/fine surface scratches (polishable). Light paint abrasions, e.g. at the door edges. Light dings from rocks (not down to the primer), 4 dings per 100 cm2 are acceptable. Slight traces such as those left by car-wash machines. Light paint scratches in the area of the sill on the rear bumper as may occur during loading and unloading.
Damage (not acceptable)
Extensive paint damage. Poorly executed repair and painting work. Paint damage due to resin, bird droppings, lettering, adhesive, etc. as well as colour deviations. This also applies to rust spots.

A deep scratch (below top coat) longer than 10 cm. Several deep scratches (under top coat) under 10 cm on a body part.
